If you have an insatiable appetite for both fashion and chocolate, then one bizarre, confection-filled catwalk should satisfy both cravings simultaneously.Last month, the 16th annual Salon du Chocolat -- a trade show dedicated to the world's finest chocolatiers and the sweet treats they whip up -- made jaws drop in Paris.

Held at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles, the event kicked off with a chocolate-themed fashion show boasting crazy couture creations made entirely out of chocolate.Spanish model Irene Salvador displays a huge chocolate hoop dress during the inaugural evening of the 16th "Salon du Chocolat" in Paris on Oct. 27. How sweet.Sweet highlights included Spanish model Irene Salvador sporting an enormous, elaborate hoop skirt made completely out of chocolate and actress Nubia Esteban wearing a much shorter candy cocktail dress while inside a big, brown chocolate birdcage. Like so many others, she's clearly a slave to chocolate.This rowdy opening-night runway is what the chocolate show is best known for, surprising spectators year after year with ever wilder, wackier designs.
