The 10 Most Memorable Quotes of 2010 - Fred Shapiro is the associate librarian at Yale Law School, and he has just released his annual list of the most memorable quotes of the year. Yale University published the Yale Book of Quotes in 2006, and Shapiro says that his top 10 most memorable quotes of the year list will make it into the next edition.
Shapiro says that he picks quotes that are famous, important or revealing of the spirit of the times.
Here are the top 10 quotes of 2010, according to Fred Shapiro of Yale University.
10.) ”They should never have put me with that woman. … She was just a sort of bigoted woman who said she used to be Labour.”
