We have been looking at the past in the last couple of days so I thought it would be nice to start looking at the future. We have less than 24 hours of this year after all.
And in the interest of fun, let us try to predict what will keep us all entertained in the next 365 days based on the things that seem to be looming in the horizon.
10. Lindsay Lohan Recovery
She’s been down for so long, she deserves to be up there at some point and I am predicting that 2011 is the year when we shall see her rise from the ashes and take the form of a woman of the new decade that will prove to all of us that it is never too late for any of us to correct the mistakes we have done in the past and still emerge the victor.
9. Limewire Replacement
Holy mother of thrist we need a new site. Come on.
There is frostwire and some other sites out there but we all have to admit Limewire was the king… until the major labels shot it down.
8. Noel Gallagher s Solo Album
Our kid put off his plans for a solo album to devote his time to his new baby but we all know he is bound to come back soon. Despite Noel’s strong front, we all know that music is where his soft spot lies.
Noel gave us some of the greatest tunes we will ever hear. His brother already launched his own album and it was, this hurts to say for a fan like me, mediocre at best. We all know Noel is the real kickass songwriter so his new album is making the music lovers hold their breath. Come on Noel, make us wait longer and we will all die.
7. Kate and William Wedding
I am not the least bit interested but the world is.
I don’t know why but alright.
6. NBA Finals
When Michael Jordan reigned supreme in the world of basketball, no one came close. No one.
When Kobe started reigning, many claim to be a close competitor. In fact, many claim to be better. However, Lebron James is the one that stands a good chance of dethroning Kobe, if he hasn’t already.
That is why seeing them face off in he finals would be the greatest roller coaster ride anyone can take.
5. Miley Cyrus Going Wild
She’s, sort of, starting already.
But she’s just beginning. Man, I am excited to see what’s next.
4. Oprah Ending
The queen of talk is ending her show this year and I am sure she’s not going to allow her show exit without creating history. The mere fact she announced the end of her show a season earlier already ensured her ratings of stratospheric proportion.
She has so far given away cars, flew her audience to Australia in her private jet… wonder what’s next. Give us all a planet each or something.
3. Clash of the Greats
These are the matches I hope to happen:
*Pacquiao vs Mayweather
*GSP vs Silva
*Bryant vs James
etc.
2. Destiny of Facebook
Social networking sites really have a mortality rate because technology develops too fast for anyone to catch up. Somewhere in the world someone is already coming up with a great new idea that will stomp current trends and all he needs is a computer to make things happen.
Facebook is doing everything it can to avoid death.
Will it cheat death or simply delay it? This would be interesting to watch.
1. North Korea vs The World
When it was Iraq telling the world they didn’t have nuclear weapons, we didn’t believe them and attacked them.
Now North Korea is sort of screaming they actually have it, we’re not coming near them.
What to do? what to do?
