London-based artist Xue Wang illustrates surreal scene with the characters out of the box with toys. But there is something a bit dark and disturbing in the works van. As there is a strong presence of those circus, puppets, porcelain dolls and fluffy stuffed animals. Wang takes these toys and depicts them in unusual circumstances. Her paintings are like a study of the dark side of a child’s imagination.
