NASCAR accidents are sometimes lethal but, as the drivers are professionals, they tend to avoid these accidents. In some cases, avoiding an accident is impossible.

9. Carl Edwards is one of the popular drivers in NASCAR, during one of the NASCAR races last year; he was not able to avoid an accident with another driver who hit him from behind. Edwards was trying to maintain his advantage when the car number 9 tried to take him over from the inside but, it touched his rear bumper causing the car to fly and hit the external wall. The worst thing is that these are stock cars where the safety measures were not more than a roll over cage. Try to count how many cars were involved in this accident.
